Congratulations to the Assimakopolous Family -- Jimmy, Marie, Arthur and Angie -- on their retirement from Brothers Deli. Numerous friends and well wishers attended the celebration September 3, 2023, wishing them well on all of their future endeavors. State Rep. Donald Wong and Wakefield Police Deputy Chief Calabrese presented citations to the family. Thank you for all who came out to wish the family well.
WCAT's former executive director Tom Stapleton filmed the event and interviewed a few folks.
The restaurant will continue as Brothers with new owners and management - they trained with Jimmy and Marie! Plans are to extend hours into the evening.
