Wakefield Council on Aging

The Council on Aging identifies the total needs of the community’s elderly population and educates and enlists the support of all citizens concerning these needs. In addition, the Council:

• designs, promotes, and implements services to fill needs or coordinates existing services in the community
• promotes and supports other programs which are designed to assist elderly persons in the community
• cooperates, so far as practicable, with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs.
