July 4th parade, “movie madness,” and a podcast at WCAT

Yesterday, a WCAT crew comprised of staff members and volunteers spent the day preparing for, and filming, Wakefield’s 4th of July parade at 5 p.m. The parade returned after a two-year, pandemic delay.

Thursday, the Boys and Girls Club will be in the studio for “Movie Madness”.

this week, to record another program of “Really Important Fictional Things.”

“Movies by the Lake”

WCAT’s “Movies by the Lake” returns for its seventh year beginning July 14. Additional movie dates are July 21 and 28, and August 4 with a rain date of August 11. At these movies you’ll be charmed, and you can sing, too. You’ll find out who to call in the afterlife and, if it’s your day off, you can twist and shout.
