Meetings, tours, The Room to Write, and a podcast this week at WCAT

Tuesday

A local Girl Scout troop will get a tour of the studio at 3:30 p.m. and then participate in a planning meeting. The Friends of Lake Quannapowitt Landscape subcommittee will also hold their meeting in the conference room.  At 5:15 p.m., “Really Important Fictional Things” with Rosey Mongeau and Avery will be in the podcast studio.

Wednesday

rney of a Story.” Christine is a life-long resident of East Boston. On March 16, she published her second children’s book “Logan and the Lost Luggage.”  Ricci-McNamee is an American Poetry Association Poet of Merit, winner of the Boston Public Library Scholar’s Award, and

recipient of the Presidential Arts Scholarship in Creative Writing at Salem State University.

Thursday

Experienced podcaster Deb Colameta will visit the studio to get familiar with WCAT’s podcast equipment. She’ll be recording a few podcast/vodcast episodes of “Upcycling with Deb.” Thursday evening, the podcast “Really Important Fictional Things” will record a second program with hosts Rosey Mongeau and Avery at 5:15 p.m.
