Book Buzz, ‘Speaking Opera’, boys’ basketball, and WakeUp this week at WCAT

Tuesday

6 p.m., the WCAT Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting in a hybrid form with most members in the studio. Also on Tuesday, the Wakefield Unified Prevention Coalition (WakeUp) will meet in the conference room.

Wednesday

2:30 p.m., Pastor Doug Dry will another First Baptist Church podcast. At 6:30 p.m., crew, volunteers, and game announcer Tym Brown will cover the final regular season boys’ varsity basketball match with Georgetown. The game will be livestreamed.

Thursday

1 p.m., “Speaking Opera” with vodcast host Howard Hart returns to the studio to talk about Philip Lima a baritone. Thursday afternoon at 3, Karen Stern and the “Book Buzz” crew will return to the studio to film another in their series of recommended reading material.

Friday

10 a.m., Deb Colameta returns for another segment of “Upcycling with Deb” in the podcast studio. Upcycling with Deb teaches you how to take what you’ve got and make it better.

Friday at noon., “Really Important Fictional Things” with hosts Rosey Mongeau and Avery is back in the podcast studio.
