School Committee and ‘Movies’ rain date this week at WCAT

Sunday

WCAT was on hand to film portions of Wakefield’s Safe Streets’ second annual bike events on Church Street and those riding around Lake Quannapowitt. Also, WCAT interviewed some participants.

Monday

Howard Hart, Founder of the Opera Club of Wakefield, was joined by Gino Quilico in the podcast studio for another edition of “Speaking Opera.” Quilico is a Canadian operatic baritone.

Tuesday

At 7 p.m., the School Committee will hold a hybrid meeting with members in the studio.

Thursday

At sunset, is the rain date for Movies by the Lake’ “Back to the Future Part 2.” Please come early to enjoy some pre-movie fun on the shores of Lake Quannapowitt.

Saturday

From 9 a.m. to noon, the Wakefield Area Chamber will host “Living Well – the Health Fair 2023” at the Wakefield Farmers Market. WCAT will have a crew there to interview folks and to also get some footage from the market attendees and vendors.
