Senate debate, WMHS building forum and more this week at WCAT

Monday night

WCAT will be at the Galvin Middle School to film the debate between State Senator Jason Lewis and Wakefield Town Councilor Edward Dombroski who are vying to represent the 5th Middlesex District in the upcoming election on November 8.

Tuesday morning

The Wakefield Unified Prevention Coalition (WakeUp) will hold its monthly meeting in the conference room at WCAT. Tuesday night, WCAT will host the Wakefield Memorial High School Building Forum in via a fully remote meeting through Zoom.

Wednesday morning

Wakefield Alliance Against Violence (WAAV) will hold its monthly meeting in WCAT’s conference room. At 12:30 p.m. the Wakefield Youth Council will hold a hybrid meeting with some members in the studio. At 3 p.m., David Watts, Jr. will hold his monthly meeting with Town Administrator Steve Maio. At 6 p.m., the WCAT Board of Directors will hold their monthly hybrid meeting. At 6:30 p.m., crew and volunteers will livestream the girls’ varsity volleyball game against Wilmington.

Thursday

Barbara Worley, Studio Administrator, will participate in Wakefield 101.
