Movies by the Lake

Movies by the Lake is returning for the eighth year. An average of 300-350 area residents come together to attend a large outdoor movie theater on Thursday nights every summer.

This spring, more than 600 local residents helped pick the 2023 movies with an online poll (for licensing reasons movie titles can’t be printed in the media). The movie dates are July 13, 20, and 27, and August 3. The rain date (used for only one movie) will be August 10.

Returning movie sponsors-to-date (and movies sponsored) included Rebirth Body Transformation Center (4), The Savings Bank (4), Boys and Girls Clubs of Stoneham and Wakefield (1-2), Floramo’s Restaurant in Wakefield (1), Wakefield Rotary (1), Kids’ Test Kitchen (1), and The Gingerbread Construction Co (1).
