Town Council, School Committee, and Tri-Board meetings this week at WCAT

Monday Night

At 6 p.m., Laura Dillon’s “Holistic Life” podcast will record for the first time. The Town Council will meet in a hybrid session with members in the studio at 7 p.m. Also on Monday, a subcommittee of the Friends of Lake Quannapowitt will meet in the conference room.

Tuesday evening

At 7:30, the School Committee will hold a hybrid meeting with members in the studio.

Wednesday

The Lakeside Cemetery Association, a WCAT member, will hold a meeting in the conference room.

Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., WCAT volunteer Bob Burke will be filming the Sweetser Lecture Series presentation by Kate Clifford Larson, PhD, bestselling/award winning author and Brandeis University and WSRC Scholar. Larson’s will present “Soaring Spirits for Freedom: Harriet Tubman and Fannie Lou Hamer.” The program will air at a later date.

Thursday evening

WCAT will be at the Galvin Middle School to film the Tri-Board meeting (Town Administrator, Town Council, School Committee, and Finance Committee).

Friday night

At 6, a crew and volunteers including Tucker Stikeman (camera), Tymothy Brown and Drew Schermerhorn (commentators) will be at Landrigan Field to film the Warriors last regular season home game against Wilmington.
