Town Council, School Committee, Town Meeting and more this week at WCAT

Monday

A

t 5:30 p.m., a new vodcast, “Holistic Health”, will begin. Founder and owner Laura Dillion will be one of the hosts. Holistic Life Community is located at the Lakeside Officer Park on North Avenue.

Monday night at 7, the Town Council will hold a hybrid meeting with members in the studio.

Tuesday

Morning at 9am, the Wakefield Unified Prevention Coalition (WakeUp) will hold a meeting in the studio. Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., the School Committee will hold a hybrid meeting with members in the studio.

Wednesday

At 8:30 a.m., the Wakefield Alliance Against Violence (WAAV) will hold a meeting in the studio. At 3 p.m., David Watts, Jr. will conduct his monthly meeting with Town Administrator Steve Maio.

Thursday

At 3 p.m., Karen Stern and the “Book Buzz” crew will film another in their series of reading recommendations. At 5:15 p.m., the podcast “Really Important Fictional Things” returns to the podcast studio with hosts Rosey Mongeau and Avery.

Saturday

morning at 9, WCAT staff and volunteers will be at the Galvin Middle School to film Wakefield’s Town Meeting.

Annual Meeting

WCAT’s Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 6:30-8 p.m. The meeting will be held at WCAT’s studio at 24 Hemlock Road. All are invited to attend and spend an evening with Board members and staff. There will be light refreshments. The program will begin at 7 p.m. Please RSVP by November 18 to info@wcat.tv or 781-224-0300.
