Town Council, School Committee, Town Meeting, and office hours on the docket this week at WCAT

Monday

Tonight at 7 p.m., the Town Council will hold a hybrid meeting with members in the studio.

Tuesday

At 6 p.m., the crew and volunteers, joined by commentator WMHS senior Matt O’Connor, will livestream the girls’ varsity match up against Reading. At 7:30 p.m., the School Committee will hold a hybrid meeting with members in the studio.

Thursday

At 3 p.m., Karen Stern and friends will film the Beebe Library’s “Book Buzz” show. At 5 p.m., “Really Important Fictional Things” with hosts Rosey Mongeau and Avery returns to the podcast studio.

Friday

From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., State Representative Kate Lipper-Garabedian will hold her month office hours in the WCAT conference room.

Friday afternoon, WCAT crew will begin setting up for Town Meeting.

Saturday

On Saturday, WCAT will be on hand to film Wakefield’s Town Meeting beginning at 9 a.m. in the WMHS Fieldhouse. This meeting will be to discuss and vote on the funding for the proposed new High School.

Each week, WCAT airs religious services of several local churches on the Public Channels (Verizon-40 or Comcast/RCN-3).
