Town Meeting, concerts, and podcasts this week at WCAT

WAKEFIELD — Tonight at 7, WCAT will provide coverage of Town Meeting at the Galvin Middle School. Back in the studio, Lily Gardella and Angel Amy will record another episode of their podcast “Spill The Ginger Tea.”

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, WCAT has been asked to film school concerts at the middle school.

Wednesday morning at 8:30, Wakefield Alliance Against Violence (WAAV) will hold their monthly meeting in the studio. At 3 p.m. David Watts, Jr. will conduct his monthly interview Town Administrator Steve Maio. At 6 p.m., WCAT’s Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting.

Thursday, Rosey Mongeau and Avery will record another episode of their podcast “Really Important Fictional Things.”

“Movies by the Lake”

WCAT is bringing back “Movies by the Lake” for the seventh year. Movie dates are July 14, 21, and 28 and August 4 with a rain date of August 11. Movie titles will be set soon.     Our granddaughters both performed tonight and it was wonderful to share the concert from Cape Cod. Your music department is doing an amazing job and we love to share the fruits of your labors! Keep up the great work! The Corcell girls are thriving under your tutelage!
