Veterans’ Day, Youth Council, and another tour this week at WCAT

Tuesday

At 7 p.m., the Friends of Lake Quannapowitt will be in the studio’s conference room for their monthly meeting.

Wednesday

At noon, Deb Colameta returns to the podcast studio to record multiple episodes of “Upcycling with Deb.” “Upcycling with Deb” teaches you how to take what you’ve got and make it better. At 12:30 p.m., the Youth Council will hold a hybrid meeting with some members in the studio. Also on Wednesday, Odyssey Day School will tour the facility. The school will hold a STEAMfest later in November. Barbara Worley, WCAT Studio Administrator, will attend to represent the “arts” – WCAT, graphics, etc.

Thursday

At 5:15 p.m., the podcast “Really Important Fictional Things” returns to the podcast studio with hosts Rosey Mongeau and Avery at 5:15 p.m.

WCAT will film the dedication of the new memorial at Veterans Field at 9 and will then cover the Veterans Day ceremony at the Galvin Middle School beginning at 11 a.m.

Annual Meeting

WCAT’s Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 6:30-8 p.m. The meeting will be held at WCAT’s studio at 24 Hemlock Road. All are invited to attend and spend an evening with Board members and staff. There will be light refreshments. The program will begin at 7 p.m. Please RSVP by November 18 to info@wcat.tv or 781-224-0300.
